DONADINI

BIOGRAPHIE

Donadini is a French artist born in Troyes in 1951. Graduated from Beaux-Arts of Nancy and Paris, he still works in his studio of Montmartre. This place is full of fetishes belonging to the artist but also memories of his collaborations with Salvador Dali and Man Ray.

His work is showcased in France but also in New York, Miami, Chicago, Londres, Dubai, Hong Kong, Singapore.

His latest series, the « stopped brushes » are the representation of the gesture of the artist in the act of creation. By leaving the brush on the canvas, Donadini gives a glimpse to the creative process and the work of the artist. A painting is an unfished story whom the artist is the only master to decide the end. The crumpled side on the side of the canvas reminds us that life is a theatre. When the curtain opens, one story begins. Mickaël Marciano galleries are fan of his work !
