BIOGRAPHIE

| IMKIL |

« My aesthetic ideal is to catch forms furtively created by the light that we don’t take care most of the time. I want to express inspiration and harmony  existing in the light and the shades. » – Imkil.

He was born in Seoul (South Korea) in 1959. Imkil was once an adept of hyperrealism and exclusively painted that. Henceforth, the artist endeavours to paint with a remarkable sensibility the short and mundane moments of the life. He paints it in order to reveal all their beauty.

From Montparnasse to the Pont des Arts, the artist breathes life into his art works. With a ineffable brightness and a wonderful sensibility, He is an artist whom captures the soul of Paris in his art. He depicts total ordinary situations and with warmth to illustrate all their intensity. Also the artist glorifies the immobility of our world, turning it into a stunning life. He is part of the permanent selection of Marciano galleries‘ artists.
