CLAIRE & SIRI

Claire and Siri are two artists, one French and the other Norwegian, who have been collaborating for nearly ten years, painting “with four hands.” Their work is distinguished by the meeting of two unique perspectives on the plant world, a complementarity that has become their artistic signature. Under the name Racine d’or (Golden Root), Claire and Siri highlight the power of nature and the vitality it embodies. In their works, they express their sense of wonder by exploring material contrasts: the solidity of trunks versus the lightness of foliage, striving for a harmonious balance inspired by the “Vitruvian Man.”

Their themes draw on universal symbols and the richness of cultural diversity, sparking reflection on their own roots and on humanity’s place in the world.
