ADRIEN DI FAZIO

Adrien Di Fazio is a self-taught French sculptor, born in Normandy in 1993. From an early age, his trajectory has been shaped by the intersection of two driving forces: scientific rigor and artistic intuition. Trained as an aerospace engineer, he initially pursued a conventional professional path, holding various corporate positions while quietly developing a personal and introspective artistic practice.

Above all, Adrien Di Fazio is a creative mind driven by a strong appetite for intellectual exploration. Since childhood, he has maintained an instinctive relationship with art as a space for emotional expression and inquiry. This inner necessity led him to experiment across a wide range of materials and processes: graphic compositions created with nails on wooden surfaces, paper-mâché and resin sculptures, mosaic works applied to everyday objects, jewelry-making, explorations in pixel art, and even ventures into musical composition. These diverse experiments reveal a sustained formal investigation and a desire to give tangible form to the intangible.

Family trips to the French Riviera played a formative role in shaping his artistic sensibility. They introduced him early on to the legacy of the Nice School, particularly the work of Yves Klein, as well as to major figures of modern and contemporary art such as Dalí, Niki de Saint Phalle, Warhol, Lichtenstein, and Kandinsky. These encounters revealed to him the power of visual language as a vehicle for thought and vision. At the same time, his native Normandy — the birthplace of Impressionism and Pointillism — and the heritage of masters such as Monet and Manet deeply informed his sensitivity to light, rhythm, and perception.

Drawn to the physical dimension of form and fascinated by the mathematical and physical laws that structure reality, Adrien Di Fazio ultimately found in sculpture a point of convergence. His work unfolds through a dialogue between science and art, giving rise to pieces that question space, matter, and the invisible forces that shape them.
